I've shot 220 weddings in twelve years. My approach is light-touch documentary — I notice, I don't direct. The pictures are the day, not the version of the day a photographer arranged. Couples who book me tend to be ones who say "we want to look like us." That's the brief.

Common questions from couples

How far in advance should we book?

Most couples book 9–14 months out. I take 18 weddings a year — once a date is held, it's held. Inquiries are answered in the order received.

When do we get our photos?

Sneak-peek gallery within 72 hours of the wedding. Full edited gallery in 6 weeks, sometimes faster off-season.

Do you travel? What about destination weddings?

Yes — passport is always ready. Travel is billed at cost; I cover my own meals. Destination weddings outside the US/EU are quoted with two days on-site minimum.

Will you bring a second shooter?

Most full-day weddings include one. For under-80-guest weddings I usually shoot solo — fewer cameras, more presence. Either way, decided in the pre-wedding meeting.
