Editor — the person who shot it

Small crew. Full attention.

I direct, shoot, and cut everything myself, with a sound recordist and a gaffer when the project earns them. Fourteen projects a year is the number where every frame still gets watched twice.

02What I makeFixed quotes, per project

Four kinds of film.

01

Brand films

2–5 minutes for DTC and B2B clients. Concept, script, shoot, edit — one thread of accountability.

02

Wedding films

Long-form and short-form edits, documentary approach. I take eight a year so each one gets the full edit.

03

Founder + leader documentaries

15–30 minute portraits commissioned by companies and nonprofits. Slow interviews, honest cuts.

04

Music videos

Three a year, hand-picked. Small budgets welcome when the idea is interesting.

Travel billed at cost. Anything over six hours of transit adds a rest day before the shoot — tired eyes miss shots.

03How a film happensTwo revisions included

Four stages, no mystery.

  1. The treatment

A written concept with references, shot ideas, and a fixed quote. You approve the film on paper before a camera moves.

  2. Shoot days

Small footprint, natural light where it wins, and schedules with slack built in — rushed footage looks rushed forever.

  3. The edit

First cut in three weeks. Two structured revision rounds — notes in writing, changes explained.

  4. Delivery

4K masters, social cuts, and an archive of selects you own outright.

04The honest answers

Before you inquire

How far out are you booking?
Brand and documentary work: two to four months out. Weddings: nine to fourteen months — eight slots a year, held in inquiry order.
What does a film cost?
Fixed quote per project after the treatment. Brand films typically start five figures; weddings and music videos start lower. No hourly billing.
Do we get the raw footage?
You get the finished films plus an archive of graded selects. Full raw is available as a priced add-on — mostly it just fills hard drives.
Do you travel?
Happily. Travel is billed at cost, and anything over six hours of transit adds a rest day before the shoot — tired eyes miss shots.

Have a film in mind?

Describe it badly — that's fine. The treatment is where it becomes a film.
