Boutique · senior-led
Stories worth telling, well told.
A boutique firm representing founders, books, films, and the occasional cause. We stay small on purpose, so every account gets a partner.

Sixteen people. Eighteen years.
Founded in 2007, boutique by decision ever since. Every account is led by a partner with at least a decade of newsroom or agency experience, and we turn down more work than we take on — twelve accounts is the ceiling, because attention is the product.
- Senior-led — a partner on every account, no junior pass-through
- Application-only · 12 active accounts at a time
- Offices in New York + London, clients worldwide
How representation begins
The application
A short written note: who you are, what you're working toward, when it needs to land. We read every one and reply within two business days.
The partner read
If the fit looks right, a partner spends a week with your material — the book, the deck, the product — before we say yes.
The first ninety days
Positioning, the story architecture, the target list, and the first placements. You'll know by day 90 whether it's working; so will we.
Placements that moved the needle.
Client names withheld by agreement — discretion is half the job. References available under engagement.

Crisis cover is part of every retainer
Travel, review copies, event costs and wire distribution are billed at cost and approved by you in advance. We take no commission on any of them.
The counsel, not just the coverage.
“They told me which interviews to decline. That advice — the nos — turned out to be worth more than every placement combined.”
Before you apply
How are fees structured?+
Monthly retainers for ongoing representation; fixed fees for launch windows and crisis engagements. Scope and fee are in writing before anything begins.
What is the minimum engagement?+
Four months for representation — placements compound, and anything shorter sells you a sprint when the work is a season. Crisis work is the exception: it runs as long as it needs to and no longer.
Why application-only?+
Twelve accounts is the ceiling. The application is not a velvet rope — it is how we protect the attention of the accounts already on the books.
Can you guarantee coverage?+
No, and be wary of anyone who says otherwise. We guarantee the quality of the story, the strength of the list, and the persistence of the follow-up.
Do you work with in-house comms teams?+
Routinely. We extend internal teams for launches and crisis windows rather than displacing them.
Will you tell me not to do an interview?+
Often. The nos are the part of this job that compounds, and a firm that only ever says yes is selling activity rather than counsel.
Do you take clients whose work you disagree with?+
Not often, and we say why. Representation requires believing the story is true, because the whole trade runs on a journalist believing us the next time we call.
What happens if a story goes wrong?+
A partner is on the phone within the hour, including at 2am, and the first call is about the facts rather than the spin. Crisis cover is included in every retainer for exactly this reason.

Working toward something?
A short note about you and what needs to land is plenty. We respond to every application within two business days.
