We cut what the cloth allows and stop. No restocks, no seasonal markdown panic, no warehouse. When a piece finds its people, it's finished — and the next season starts from a blank sketchbook.

Finding the pieces

The drop
Online, 1 April, 10am CET. The email list gets 24 hours of early access — sizes go in order of signup, no exceptions.

Stockists
Eleven independent shops carry the collection. The list is updated weekly as sizes sell through — check before you travel.

Trade + wholesale
We take on two or three new stockists a season, chosen slowly. Linesheets available from January for the summer drop.

Press loans
Editorial and stylist pulls from the current season. Two-week loans, insured both ways, credits appreciated.

How a season comes together
The sketchbook
Each season starts as thirty drawings that become twelve. The cut that survives is the one you can live in, not the one that photographs loudest.
Cloth first
We buy the fabric before finalising the designs — linen from a fourth-generation Portuguese mill, deadstock finds when the roll is right.
The ateliers
Two family workshops, in Porto and Modena, sew everything. Small runs mean the same hands finish every piece.
The drop
One date, one email, no drip campaign. What doesn't sell in-season goes to the archive sale in January — never to landfill.

Sizing
Five sizes, measured flat
We number rather than letter our sizes because the volume is deliberate — a 2 here is not a small anywhere else. These are garment measurements, so compare against something you already own.

Centimetres, garment laid flat. Chest and hip are half-measures — double them to compare with a body.
How to measure
The volume is on purpose
Every piece is drafted with 12–16 cm of ease through the chest. If you want it close to the body, take a size down — plenty of people do.
Linen moves
It relaxes roughly a centimetre in the first three wears and shortens the same amount at the first wash. We pre-wash everything so what you receive is what it stays.
Between two sizes
Take the larger for the coat and the shirt, the smaller for the trouser. That is the answer we give at every market stall, every season.
Ask us
Send the flat measurements of a favourite garment to the studio and we will tell you which number to take — including when the answer is none of them.
04Sizing + shipping
Good to know
- How does sizing run?
- Generous and unfussy — most pieces are cut with volume on purpose. The size chart lists garment measurements, not body measurements, so you can compare against a favourite.
- Do you restock?
- No. 30–80 units per piece, then the season is closed. The email list hears first when sizes are running low.
- Shipping and returns?
- Worldwide from the Porto studio within three days of the drop. 30-day returns on unworn pieces — we'd rather a return than a wrong fit in your wardrobe.
- Is there an archive sale?
- Every January, email list only. It's how the studio ends a season without a landfill line in the accounts.
