Hi — I make a few things.

A weekly newsletter, a long-form podcast, two courses, and the occasional consulting gig. All of it about attention, craft, and working at human scale.

Small, on purpose.

No team, no growth plan, no pivot to video. The work stays small enough that every piece of it gets made carefully, by me, on time-ish.

The weekly letter

One essay every Thursday about attention, craft, and working at human scale. Free, no sponsors, unsubscribe anytime.

The only newsletter I read the moment it arrives. It reliably says the thing I'd been failing to articulate all week.

The hireable parts

01

Consulting

Brand voice + content strategy for thoughtful companies. Three or four engagements a year.

02

Speaking

Conferences + workshops on creative practice and attention. 8–12 talks a year.

03

Workshops

Half-day writing workshops for teams that write a lot and want to write better.

The courses

Two cohorts a year, thirty seats each

Taught live, in small groups, with real feedback on real work. Newsletter subscribers get the enrolment window first and it usually fills from there.

Writing that sounds like you

For people who write at work and hate how it comes out. Voice, structure, and the editing pass that does most of the work.

$680
You will learn
  • Draft faster by deciding the shape before the sentences
  • Cut a piece by a third without losing the argument
  • Finish the course with four pieces you would publish
Intermediate8 weeks · two live sessions a weekNext intake: September

Creative practice at human scale

For independents already making things, and drowning. Attention, scheduling, saying no, and building a body of work that compounds.

$980
You will learn
  • A working week you designed rather than inherited
  • A publishing rhythm you can hold for a year
  • A short, honest list of what to stop doing
03How consulting worksNo retainers

Small engagements, sharp edges.

  1. A short email

What you're making, what's not working, when you need it. I reply within a week, honestly.

  2. A scoped sprint

Two to six weeks, fixed fee, defined output — a voice guide, a content system, a rewrite.

  3. Handover + walkthrough

You get the work plus a recorded walkthrough your team can rewatch. Then I go back to the newsletter.

Clients say

5 out of 5 stars
Six weeks of voice work with them did more for our writing than two years of style-guide policing. Worth the wait for a slot.

Asked often

Is the newsletter really free?
Yes — reader-funded through the courses and book, not sponsors. That's why there are no ads in it.
When is the next course cohort?
April, capped at 30. Newsletter subscribers get the enrolment window first — it usually fills from there.
Can I sponsor the podcast?
The podcast takes one sponsor per season, chosen slowly. Email with what you make and why it fits.
Do you take consulting gigs?
Three or four a year, scoped as fixed sprints. The queue is real but short — worst case you wait a quarter.
Will you speak at our event?
Probably, if the topic is craft, attention, or working small. Send dates and audience; I reply within a week.
