About the studio

Brand and product, made with care

We've been a six-person studio since 2012. We work directly with founders and product leads — no account managers, no creative-director-by-proxy. The work has been recognised by Awwwards, FWA, and Brand New, but what we care about is whether your customers feel like the page was made for them.

  • Brand identity & visual systems
  • Web design & development (React + Next.js)
  • Editorial design & long-form content
  • Motion + interaction studies
What we do

Three things, done well.

We're picky about engagements — we'd rather do three projects properly than ten in a sprint.

01

Brand identity

Naming, logo, visual system, brand guidelines. The kind of brand you can run for a decade without tweaking.

02

Website design + build

From the brief to the live site. Design in Figma, built in React, shipped to your CDN. Editor handed over so you can keep editing without us.

03

Editorial & launch content

Long-form pages, launch posts, product anthologies. We write the copy ourselves when you need us to.

How we work

Four weeks, end to end.

The engagement model that fits most projects. We've run faster (one week sprints) and slower (six-month brand rebuilds) — we'll tell you which side your project should sit on.

Discovery

We sit with the team, the brief, the existing work, the analytics. Roughly a week. Output: a written direction document we both agree on.

Design

We design in Figma, then refine. Two design rounds with you reviewing in between. You'll see real screens, not mood boards.

Build

React + Next.js + a CMS you can edit. We commit code daily; you watch it grow on a preview URL.

Launch

We ship together, then stay on for a week for the typo-fix-and-feedback round. Then you're independent.

A small team, by design.

Six people total. Every project gets a lead designer + engineer end-to-end. You will always speak directly to the people doing the work.

What clients say

Worth the rate.

They didn't just deliver a brand — they delivered a way of thinking about the brand. Two years later we're still using the framework they gave us.

Senior people on every call, code we could actually maintain ourselves, no agency-speak. Refreshing.

We've worked with three studios before this one. They were the only ones who shipped on time and within scope. Hired them again immediately.

Frequently asked

Questions before reaching out?

How long does a typical engagement take?+

Four to six weeks for a website. Eight to twelve for a full brand rebuild. We will scope precisely in the first conversation.

What's the price range?+

Brand: from $18k. Website: from $24k. Anchored to scope, not seat count — there is no per-person rate. We share a fixed quote after discovery.

Do you work with founders directly?+

Almost exclusively. We work best with two or three decision-makers — once a project has more than four stakeholders the velocity dies.

Where are you based?+

Remote-first, with a small office in Brooklyn. Most clients we never meet in person; we are available for kickoffs and launches when it matters.

Can you work with our existing dev team?+

Yes — we design and hand off to internal engineering, or build alongside them. We can adapt to your existing stack as long as it is in the React / Next.js ecosystem.

Do you offer ongoing retainers?+

No, by choice. We hand the work off and remain available for fixed-scope follow-ups. Retainers blur ownership; the work belongs to you.
