2018
Founded by four artists

Founded by artists who couldn't afford art.

We started in 2018 because none of us could afford the prints we wanted. So we built the print house we wished existed: small editions, honest materials, and a 50% royalty — well above the gallery standard — paid to the artist on every sheet.

03How an edition happensProofed with the artist

From studio wall to yours.

  1. Proofing

The artist sits with us at the printer until the proof matches the work. Sometimes two passes; the record is eleven.

  2. The run

The full edition is printed in one run on 308gsm cotton, then signed and numbered sheet by sheet.

  3. Fulfilment

Flat-packed or tubed, tracked worldwide. Framed orders ship in a corner-protected crate.

Sizes

What each size actually looks like on a wall

Every edition is printed at one or more of these. The image area is smaller than the sheet because each print carries a border for the signature and the frame rebate.

How to measure

  • How high to hang it

Centre of the image at 145 cm from the floor — gallery standard, and it is the height your eye expects whether or not you know why.

  • Over furniture

The print should be roughly two-thirds the width of what it hangs above. Over a 180 cm sofa that means A1, or two A2s hung 5 cm apart.

  • Mounts and borders

The white border is part of the print and should sit inside the frame, not under the mount. If you are adding a mount, buy a frame one size up.

  • Light

Archival pigment on cotton rag is rated 100+ years — but not in direct sun. Off a south-facing wall, or behind UV glazing, and you will never think about it again.

04The practical bits

Ordering

What does "limited edition" mean here?
A fixed run — 30 to 100 sheets — each signed and numbered by the artist. When the run sells through, the file is retired. We never quietly reprint.
What paper do you print on?
308gsm 100% cotton rag with archival pigment inks — the museum standard. Rated 100+ years without fading in normal light.
Can I return a print?
Within 30 days, any reason, full refund. Framed orders too — we'd rather the print hang somewhere it's loved.
Do editions sell out fast?
The small editions can go in days — subscribers get a 24-hour head start on every release, which is usually the difference.
How does the artist royalty work?
50% of every sale, paid monthly, on both limited and open editions. It's the reason the roster stays with us.
